{"id":43264,"date":"2021-12-16T15:00:18","date_gmt":"2021-12-16T12:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rada.vision\/?p=43264"},"modified":"2025-11-18T21:58:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T18:58:12","slug":"ushodnyae-partnjorstva-zastanecca-adkrytym-dlya-gramadzyanskaj-supolnasci-belarusi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rada.vision\/en\/ushodnyae-partnjorstva-zastanecca-adkrytym-dlya-gramadzyanskaj-supolnasci-belarusi","title":{"rendered":"The Eastern Partnership will remain open to Belarusian civil society"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday, 14 December, a meeting took place in Brussels ahead of the <strong>Eastern Partnership Summit<\/strong>, during which Belarusian political forces discussed the future role of the Eastern Partnership.<\/p>\n<p>The discussion was attended by the Coordination Council\u2019s Representative for Human Capital, Volha Kavalkova; the Executive Secretary of the Coordination Council, Ivan Kravtsov; the Head of Tsikhanouskaya\u2019s Office, Valer Kavaleuski; as well as the Special Envoy of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Eastern Partnership, Jaroslav Kurf\u00fcrst. The meeting was moderated by the Coordination Council\u2019s Representative for Civil Society, Andrei Yahorau.<\/p>\n<p>Participants noted that the foundation for change in Belarus was not the 2020 elections but the mature Belarusian civil society that wants reforms.
