Today the date of the beginning of the trial of the members of the Coordination Council Presidium Maxim Znak and Maria Kalesnikava has become known. The criminal case on charges against Maria and Maxim will begin on 4 August. The case will be considered behind closed doors.
“The closed mode of consideration of the case, in this case, closes from society not only the content of the accusation but also the fact of the absence of evidence of guilt, as well as the fact of the absence of a crime,” comments Dmitry Laevsky, the former lawyer of Maxim Znak.
The session is considered by a judge of the Minsk Regional Court. Beginning at 11:00 in the courthouse of the Minsk region (Mayakovsky St., 119a).
