Poland, Lithuania and Germany recalled their ambassadors. The ambassadors of the first two countries have already left our country, and the German ambassador is to leave today.

Thank you for solidarity with the Belarusian society. Return is inevitable in two cases: either the authorities agree for a dialogue, or the ambassadors will return to a new, democratic Belarus”, Pavel Latushka, member of the Board of the Coordination Council, commented on the departure of the heads of diplomatic missions.

The ambassadors were recalled for consultations following the diplomatic scandal of 2 October when the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded from the embassies of Poland and Lithuania to reduce the number of their diplomats working in Belarus.
