The working group on education of the Coordination Council sent 183 letters to partner universities of Belarusian universities in more than 20 countries. The leaders of 11 universities from Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Latvia, and Greece have already replied that they are ready to support students and teachers in various forms.

The Coordination Council invites partner universities to express solidarity with students and teachers defending their rights, to support those who have been expelled or dismissed for political reasons, and/or to review the terms of cooperation with Belarusian partner universities.

We express respect and solidarity with the Belarusians, – wrote Professor Arkadiusz Wuis, rector of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. – Dear students from Belarus, remember that you can count on our support and assistance.

We would like to remind you that the Belarusian Association of Student Support helps repressed students and teachers to find places for study, internships, and work in foreign universities. Information on different types of student assistance is collected on the Honest University website.

In total, according to the data «Belarusian Students’ Association», in the last 5 months, 131 people were expelled.
